LGBTQ+ Wedding Vendors and Venues in the Treasure Valley

In a traditionally conservative state like Idaho, the process of searching for wedding vendors becomes a distressing and arduous experience for individuals who identify as queer. It requires significant effort to discover wedding vendors willing to cater to the LGBTQ community in the Boise, Nampa or Ontario, OR areas. This list and commentary is mostly from an online site by Maggie Grace Photography and focuses on businesses that are advocates for the LBGTQ+ community. St James Church: Perfect Venue for affordable yet elegant weddings under 75 people. St James is a historic neo-gothic chapel in Payette, Idaho. In addition to the 19th century church, St James has a commercial kitchen as well as an elegant banquet hall lit by chandeliers. St James venue space has heated and air conditioned rooms, perfect any time of the year regardless of weather. They are one hour outside of Boise and 30 minutes from Caldwell, Idaho. There are six onsite rooms that can also be rented for overnight use and an Airbnb nearby as well as many hotel chains within 10 minutes of the property in Ontario, OR.

Pilgrim Cove Camp & Conference Center Located in McCall, Idaho, Pilgrim Cove Camp is an amazing rustic camp that hosts limited weddings every summer. This venue is also unique because you can rent it for an entire weekend for everyone you love to stay on the property! The entire facility is located on the beach and you can have your ceremony and party on the water, or nestled in the forest. It’s a stunning location and managed by incredibly caring, devoted people.

Paradise Point Episcopal Church Camp Located in McCall, Idaho, This camp is one of the most beautiful places in Idaho. It is surrounded by Payette Lake. You can rent it for an entire weekend for everyone you love to stay on the property! You can have your ceremony and party on the water, or among the Ponderosa pines and granite boulders at the nature chapel which overlooks the lake and sunset. In addition, you may be able to rent additional activities such as use of their ropes course or a boat ride for guests.

Idaho Botanical Garden If you are dreaming of a Boise wedding, the Botanical Gardens is located in the heart of Boise. Idaho Botanical Garden’s is a non-profit and privately owned location. The foundation continually supports the Boise community and fosters an inclusive, open-minded community. White Barn at Happy Valley Road This sweet rustic barn has modern amenities, a gorgeous getting ready suite, an outdoor space, and it’s within 30 minutes of Boise.

Scandia Inn in McCall, Idaho! The venue offers an outdoor lawn for an outdoor or indoor ceremony and also has an indoor venue hall.
